A Halloween rave in east London this past weekened was turned into a real-life horror situation as three men wearing masks opened fire on unsuspecting partiers.
Police were called at approximately 5am on Saturday, October 28 to reports of gunfire from an illegal Halloween rave in London. Miraculously, only two people were hit in the hail of bullets: a 41-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his left leg, and a woman, believed to be in her 20s, with a gunshot wound to the chest. Her condition is described as not life-threatening or life-changing.
According to those present at the rave, the perpetrators had blocked off one of the exits with a vehicle, making an exit from the venue more difficult.
“Everyone who had got out was just running but there were over 100 trapped inside. I turned and ran,” one partygoer told The Sun.
“They had blocked off the only road out of the rave with a car before, so not many got out.”
One of the partygoers reportedly fired back with a handgun.
Police are still searching for the perpetrators, no arrests have been made.
